BENNETT R. FORD III

Helping others is a family tradition

Bennett R. Ford III, comes from a long line of attorneys, dating back generations to his Great-Great-Great-Grand Father. Growing up, he recognized early on that being an attorney meant you had the opportunity to help others.

Ford was born and raised in Titusville, Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) and graduated with a BA degree. While attending UCF he was heavily involved in a variety of campus activities, including Student Government, writing for the school paper, and numerous honor societies and organizations. Ford has a strong connection to the Central Florida community and enjoys helping those around him.

Following college Ford interned as a private investigator, learning the tools of the trade. He then attended law school at Florida State University College of Law (FSU) and graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree. While attending FSU, he worked with a Children’s Advocacy Center, assisting children and their parents with civil and criminal cases. He also clerked with an insurance defense law firm.

After graduating from law school, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender where he handled numerous misdemeanor and felony cases. Managing such a large and diverse caseload provided him with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Ford went on to work at a prominent private law firm where he was involved in a number of high-profile cases. He ultimately left that firm and founded The Ford Law Office, where he represents clients in both criminal and civil litigation.

Ford has been admitted to the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is also a member of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Orange County Bar Association.
